From large to small, we handle it all at Moody's Tire Service Inc. Pete (Odis) Moody started the business in 1980 and worked it into his 70s. Pete started the business strictly as roadside service. Ann Moody, Pete’s wife, would take the calls and take care of the paperwork while Pete would run calls 24 hours a day/365 days a year. Together, they grew a successful business that expanded thanks to word of mouth combined with genuine, hometown service.
When his stepsons, Bobby and Eddie Drawdy, were big enough to swing the hammer, Pete trained them. He instilled in them the importance of customer service, quality work, and integrity. When they train new employees, they try to instill the same lessons they received from Pete.
